Cornering intro

Our goal is one integrated motion that incorporates these elements:

1. Leaning the bike. Independently from your body.

2. Loading the bike. Pushing through your foot (or feet) while keeping your hands neutral.

3. Driving your hips through the corner. As a ski instructor told me, there’s a flashlight in your belly button, and it should shine where you want to go.

This video shows a good, clean, integrated turn. If you watch, closely you’ll see 1) the bike leaning, 2) the feet loading and 3) the hips driving.

Again in slow motion:

Ultimately, you’ll lean, load and drive simultaneously in every corner. In order to help you build the skills, we’ll start by practicing those skills one at a time.

This video talks about our approach, and it shows camber thrust in action.
